I first encountered Tauba’s pop-up book when I attended the book’s opening event at Printed Matter. It was busy and loud and I really wished to hear the sound of the paper stretching and rubbing. I proposed to Tauba that we film it and pay special attention to the voice of the paper. Unknowingly we were making an ASMR unboxing video.
